I am excited to announce that one of my photographs will be featured in this year’s Salon des Refusés 2024 at the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition (BWAC).

This year the Brooklyn Museum announced an open call for an exhibition to celebrate its 200th anniversary "The Brooklyn Artists Exhibition. " Thousands of Brooklyn of artists applied; however, due to limited space only a few were accepted. BWAC's exhibition follows in the tradition of the original Salon des Refusés (1863). That exhibition included artists rejected from the prestigious academic arts exhibition such as Manet, Cezanne and Whistler.

In the wake of rejections from the Brooklyn Museum, BWAC announced its intention to mount: Salon des Refusés 2024: An Exhibition Showcasing Artwork Rejected from Brooklyn Museum Open Call.  It’s a unique exhibition celebrating incredible works that didn’t make it into the Brooklyn Museum show.
